Dawnkit

This is for Cats Of The Valley. Hi, I'm Dawnkit. I never knew my father, mother always said that he died before we were born. We meaning me and Sunkit, my sister. Our brother died at birth so we've been told. All I have been able to think about is Sunkit. I always thought Sunkit and I would be warrior apprentices together and that we would become warriors together but now all Sunkit talks about is herbs and stuff like that and she's always in Fawnfur's den and helping them with stuff like sorting and putting away herbs. All I've ever know to be real fighting is playing with Sunkit. We're the only kits in the nursery so we only play with each other but that only makes us closer I guess. Sometimes I feel as if Sunkit and I share a special bond. It's not the usual sister bond thing but like I feel what she's feeling. Mother told us that we're descendants of Firestar. He was a Clan Leader long before we were born. When I heard this I was so excited that I could have stayed up all day and night. Mother even said I looked like him or at least what he was said to look like. She told us that he had a pelt that shone like fire in when the sun hit it at the right angle. She told use everything she knew about him from what she had heard from the elders. Thanks for looking at my art. Hope you enjoyed Dawnkit's story. (P.S.
